David W. Shady

David W. Shady, 60, of Miles, Iowa, and formerly of Maquoketa, Iowa, passed away on Thursday, July 14, 2022, at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City, Iowa. At Peace Cremation Services have been provided by Carson Celebration of Life Center in Maquoketa. No public visitation or services are planned at this time. David Wayne Shady was born on January 19, 1962 in Indiana to Alva and Patricia Anne (Bartley) Shady. David had worked as a truck driver for many years in the Eastern Iowa area. He enjoyed fishing, camping, and spending time with his grandchildren and his best friend, his dog "Nutcase". Those left to honor his memory include his wife Margaret Shady of Miles, IA; his children, Dale (April Frost) Shady of Miles, IA, and Stephanie of Maquoketa, IA; step-children, April (Dale Shady) Frost of Miles, IA, and Amber Frost of Maquoketa, IA; 12 grandchildren; and siblings, Cliff Shady of Des Moines, IA, and Susan (John) Searle of Davenport, IA.
