Richard "Dick" Biermann, 75, of Glenwood, IA passed away on Friday, July 15, 2022 at the Glen Haven Village in Glenwood. Memorial Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, July 21, 2022 at the Loess Hills Funeral Home in Glenwood with Pastor David Witkop officiating. Visitation with the family will be from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday July 20, 2022 at Loess Hills Funeral Home. Loess Hills Funeral Home in Glenwood is caring for Dick and his family. Dick was born on April 15, 1947 in Glenwood, the son of Fred and Dorothy (Pein) Biermann. He grew up in Glenwood and graduated from Glenwood High School in 1965 (the last best class to graduate from Glenwood). Dick attended Iowa State University in Ames, receiving his Bachelor's Degree in 1971. Dick is survived by his wife of 54 years, Kathy Biermann of Glenwood; children, Matt Biermann and wife Kendra and their children, Sydney and Gavin, all of Glenwood, and Ann Biermann and her husband Brad Benjamin of Chicago, IL; and siblings, Judy (Dave) Fritch of Bakersfield, CA, Jim (Sarah) Biermann of Glenwood, and Lori (Rod) Hunt of Malvern; other relatives and a host of friends.
