On the evening of July 15th, 2022; Jack Williams of 10569 E Fanfol Lane, Scottsdale passed on due to a massive heart attack. He had also battled Alzheimer's for 16 years. Jack was born on April 9, 1932 to Stella and Robert Williams in Niles Ohio, the youngest of 3 boys and a first generation American citizen. He was a member of the 1947 Warren G. Harding state baseball championship team. He moved back to Niles and won the state basketball championship in 1949.He received a contract with the St. Louis Browns professional baseball team. Instead, he joined the US Air Force and served in the Korean War. He received a degree in political science from Ohio State University. He began his career with Copperweld Steel. Then moved on to the U.S. Dept. of Labor in D.C. He finished his career as an arbitrator for the International United Steel Workers of America. He retired to Scottsdale AZ in 1995 where he enjoyed woodworking and sold men's suits for an additional 17 years. He was adored by all that knew him.
