George Simmons Wootten III

George Simmons Wootten III, 67, of Scottsdale passed away on August 16, 2022. He is survived by his sister: Stephanie; children: Alicia, Jason, George IV (Meredith), Alexa (Shawn); grandchildren: Tristan, Madelynn, Bradley, Brinley (due Nov.); and great-granddaughter: Kai'Lani. George was born October 27, 1954 in Evanston, IL to George II and Marvel. He was a life-long banjo player since the age of 7, member of Musicians of Arizona, volunteer with Audrey's Angels, and musician with Trotter's Wake. A remembrance service will be held Saturday, September 17, 2022 at 11am at Desert Hills Chapel: 6500 E. Bell Rd, Scottsdale, AZ 85254.
