Rebecca Lynn Brown

Rebecca Lynn Brown (Coker), 59, passed away on September 6th, 2022. Memorial services will be held on Sunday, September 11th in Mitchellville, Iowa at the Mitchellville Community Center at 11:00 a.m. Rebecca was born to Merrell and Joyce Coker on March 14th, 1963 at the Kadena Air Base in Okinawa, Japan. She grew up in Austin, Texas with her two siblings Merrell "Skip" and Melissa. She got married to Randy Brown in 1980 and they had two sons Mark and Robert "Matt" Brown. In 1992 they moved to Colfax, Iowa, and spent almost the next 30 years there. Rebecca enjoyed her work at a manufacturing job in Ankeny and raising her sons. Those left to honor her memory include her husband Randy, her children Mark and Matt, her brother "Skip", her sister Melissa, her grandchildren, and nieces and nephews. Preceding her in death were her parents Merrell and Joyce, mother-in-law Coleen Brown, and father-in-law Jerry Brown. Memorials may be directed to Matt Brown. [more]
