BETTY BREWER MUSCATINE, Iowa - Betty A. Brewer, 87, of Muscatine, passed away on Sunday, September 18, 2022, at home. Private family graveside will take place in Cottonwood Cemetery. The Ralph J. Wittich-Riley-Freers Funeral Home will be in charge of arrangements. Memorials may be made to Chapel of Praise Church of God. Online condolences may be made at www.wittichfuneralhome.com. Betty was born on April 30, 1935, in Trenton, the daughter of William and Mae Neff Alliman. After her mother's passing in 1937, Betty went to live with her maternal aunt and uncle, Glenn and Anna Garrett. She married Paul Brewer on February 1, 1954. He preceded her in death in September of 2018. She was a member of Chapel of Praise Church of God, Good Sam's State Chapter, and the local Pearl City Chapter. Betty loved music and had a green thumb. She enjoyed playing the piano, singing, gardening, camping, and traveling to Arizona during the winter months. She loved her family, especially her grandchildren.
