Ronning, Mr Richard Russell Muskegon, Michigan Mr Richard Russell Ronning, age 72, passed away Friday, September 9, 2022. He was born in Traverse City, MI on March 3, 1950 to Russell & Edith (Mathews) Ronning and served his country in the US Army, two years Active Duty, and 20 years in the National Guard. He married the former Deborah King on November 25, 2003. Mr Ronning had been employed as a Furnace Operator for Howmet / Alcoa. Richard was a member of New Life Church in Rothbury, MI and Past Commander of V.F.W. Richard was also a life member of the MAARC and his call sign was W8LGP. He loved ham radio, weather spotting and traveling to Florida in the winter.
