DONALD V. SIEWERT MUSCATINE, Iowa - Donald Vernon Siewert, 80, of Muscatine, passed away on Wednesday, October 5, 2022, at the UnityPoint Muscatine Hospital. Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 8, 2022, at the Ralph J. Wittich-Riley-Freers Funeral Home. Burial will follow the visitation in Memorial Park Cemetery. Donald was born on June 3, 1942, in Rice Lake, Wisconsin, the son of Daniel and Edna Anderson Siewert. He married Jolene Kaye Ament on July 2, 1966, in Rice Lake, Wisconsin. Donald graduated in 1960 from Rice Lake High School. He was a paratrooper with the 82nd Airborne Division in the United States Army. He was self-employed at Siewert Electric before working for Monsanto as an electrician, where he retired in 2000. He was a member of Walnut Park Baptist Church.
