years working for Walmart. But, he loved the farm. He enjoyed working with his brother on the family farm, which has been in the family for over 100 years. He was at the farm nearly every day after work and on the weekends. He grew up on the farm and the farm never left him. More than just the farm, Denny was a family man; he loved and was deeply loved. He never missed his sons' or his daughter's ball games. His truck was usually full of kids heading to the ballpark. And he adored his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. If he was not at the farm, he was visiting his grandchildren to watch sporting and other activities. Denny loved all kids and his grand and great-grandchildren were truly bright twinkles in his eyes. Denny will be missed by his wife, Joyce Conway of Muscatine; children: Philip Conway of North Liberty, Loretta (Tom) Cooley of Ankeny, Patrick (Carrie) Conway of Wilton; grandchildren: Dennis (Cecily) Grimm of Pleasant Hill, Heather (Bryce) Whitmore of Newton, Elizabeth Cooley of St. Joseph, Missouri, Carolyn (Alex Pauley) Conway of West Branch, Erin Conway of Dubuque, and Grant Conway of Wilton; great-grandchildren: Lilly, Kamden, Dennis, Leland and Layla; his sisters: Janet (Robert) Godwin and Mary Lou Flagel; and many nieces and nephews. Denny was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, John. A burial will be held at a later date.
