Kathleen A. Root, passed away on October 26, 2022 at the age of 77. She was the loving mother of Kerry Berezansky (Alan), Colleen Gay (Chris), and Tom Petko. Dearest grandmother of Alex, Joey, C.J., Andrew, Olivia and Ryan. Dear sister of Nancy Maynard, Thomas Higgins, Robert Higgins, Anne Teddy, John Higgins, Jeanne Higgins and William Higgins. A memorial funeral Mass will take place at 11:00am on Friday, November 4th at St. Clare of Montefalco Catholic Church, 1401 Whittier, Grosse Pointe Park. A gathering will take place prior to the Mass at 10:30am. The Mass will be streamed via St. Clare of Montefalco's Facebook page for those unable to attend.
