Jessie Bernice Huddleston

Jessie Bernice Tasby Huddleston was born in Marion Mississippi on January 16, 1926,to Mr. & Mrs. Kennon (Lillie Mae Moffett). She was the second oldest of seven children; Esther Kennedy, Oswald Moffett Jr., Roosevelt Moffett, John Moffett, Annabelle Moffett, Luther James Moffett, all who preceded her in death. In 1942,she married James Harold Tasby and had five children. In June 1967, Jessie relocated to Detroit, Michigan to be with the rest of her family. She worked for Marathon Linen Service, where she met William Huddleston. They were married in 1977.On March 23, 1975, Jessiededicated her life to Jehovah God by means of water baptism. The genuine and wholehearted love she had for Jehovah and for people moved her to volunteer her time in teaching others about God and his word, as a regular pioneer for over 32 years. Jessie LOVED to tell others about Jehovah's sure promise of living forever on earth in a beautiful paradise. This hope was one that she held near and dear to her heart.
