and book. The farm stead in Roland, Iowa that Cheryl and Russ had established in the early 80's soon became the place that brought everyone together. Whether it was to tend to the orchard, football field size garden or to the many cows, pigs, and chickens that lived on the farm or to just visit and relax. Many relatives staying for weeks at a time, and almost always for the Fourth of July celebrations. Many kids, grandkids and great grand kids have memories of working or playing at the farm that will be forever cherished. All though Cheryl succumbed to complications from a broken hip and Alzheimer's Disease that she bravely endured for over 7 years. She's no longer in pain and is no longer without a voice. May you tend to God's Garden now in heavenly peace. Those left to cherish her memories are her children (Doug, Dianne, Dennis, and Dawn) 6 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and her sisters (Margorie, Elaine). Cheryl is proceeded in death by her husband, Russell, her brother Dwight and her parents, Kenneth, and Juanita Fisher. Following her wishes, Cheryl will be cremated and laid to rest with her husband Russell at the Turner Cemetery in Garwin, Iowa.
