aternity, graduated from the R.O.T.C. program, and earned a B.A. in Accounting. After graduation, he was united in marriage to Geri Hartzler, with whom he had his two children. He served in the U.S. Army, achieving the rank of 1st Lieutenant. After his Honorable Discharge, he earned a Law Degree from Creighton University, where he was published in and served as the Lead Articles Editor for the Creighton Law Review. After graduation in 1973, Dan began practicing law in Fort Dodge with Tom Price. In 1980, he formed the McGrevey Law Firm. In 1982, he was united in marriage to Ann (Sullivan) Duffield. Dan practiced law until retiring in 2019. Dan loved to play golf at the Fort Dodge Country Club. He served as its President for 3 years and created and ran the Bill Hird Foundation for many years, raising money to fund golf course improvements. Dan loved spending time with his family, whether it was playing golf, bowling, pool, or just telling stories while drinking Diet Pepsi and making his grandkids laugh. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
