Jennifer Bender, 45, of Fort Dodge passed away Monday, January 23, 2023 at her home. Friends may call from 10:00 a.m. to noon Friday at Laufersweiler Funeral Home. Jennifer is survived by her husband Perry Bender Sr, children Mariah Miller, Pheazhaun Maier-Bender, Perry Maier-Bender Jr., Tyriq Yates, Aunt Patty W., Uncle Dan Maier, Uncle Tim Maier, mother Larie Utzke of Otho, mother-in-law Katherine Clark, sister Janette Maier, and cousin Rambo Holder. She was preceded in death by her father Gerald "Jerry" Maier, grandparents Robert & Lois Maier, Donald & Judith Saliger, and aunt Lynnette Simonson. Jennifer Lynn Maier was born January 19, 1978 in Fort Dodge. She attended catholic schools and then graduated from Fort Dodge Senior High School. She attended Iowa Central and worked as a CNA. Jen was a CDAC worker and before she was diagnosed worked as a property manager. She loved working with special needs and the elderly. Memorials left to the family's discretion.[more]
