CHRISTINE DIANNE SAMPLE MUSCATINE, Iowa - Christine Dianne Sample, 64, of Muscatine, passed away on Wednesday, April 5, 2023, at her home. There will be a private graveside service in Illinois City Cemetery. The Ralph J. Wittich-Riley-Freers Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Resch Siegenthaler. She married Scott Sample on February 24, 1979, in Nashua, Iowa. She was a member of the Illinois City United Methodist church and even played the guitar and ukulele with the church band. She was a certified aroma therapist. Christine enjoyed stained glass, lamp worked glass beads, and butterfly gardens. She loved going on family vacations and traveling. She is survived by her husband, Scott of Muscatine; daughter, Candice Whitmer of Muscatine; grandchild, Christopher Whitmer; sister, Cindy Trevarthen and her husband, Robert, of Muscatine; and brother, James Siegenthaler of Illinois City.
