LARRY G. IRWIN MUSCATINE, Iowa - Larry G. Irwin, 82, of Muscatine, passed away on Saturday, April 29, 2023, at Lutheran Living Senior Campus. Funeral Service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, May 4, 2023, at the Ralph J. Wittich-Riley-Freers Funeral Home. Reverend Dave McIntosh, Clark Pantel, and Ralph Jeamby will officiate. Burial will be in Fairport Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Matt Irwin, Tim Schroeder, Tom Borich, Bart Schroeder, Asher Schroeder, Nick Starbeck-Miller. Visitation will be from 9:30 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, May 4, 2023, at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made for a tree in his honor at the Muscatine Arboretum. He married Margaret Ahlf on November 20, 1960, they later divorced. He then married Judith Ann 'Judy' Kruckenberg on May 2, 1998. She preceded him in death. Larry is survived by his children, Laurie (Tim) Schroeder, Christine (Tom) Borich, and Matt (Kelly) Irwin; grandchildren, Bart (Lauren) Schroeder, Kat (Nick Starbeck-Miller) Schroeder, Blake Borich, Courtney Borich, Haleigh Borich, Noah Irwin, and Madelyn Irwin; great grandchildren, Asher Schroeder, Finn Schroeder, Rowan Schroeder, and Kane Irwin. Larry is preceded in death by parents, Raymond Harold and Pauline Mary Frye Irwin; his wife, Judy, two brothers, Kenneth and Gary Irwin.
