ions. He was inducted into the Muscatine High School Hall of Fame in 2022. He was an active member of several hunting clubs to include; The North American Versatile Hunting Dog Association (NAVHDA), Pheasants Forever, and the National Wild Turkey Federation (NWTF). Jason enjoyed hunting, cooking, and baking. He also enjoyed training his hunting dogs, going to ball games, and coaching. Most recently, he loved being a grandpa and foster grandpa. Jason is survived by Nancy Ward; his children, Kaylee (Ian) Hinkamper, Kendi (David) Summers, Kyra Jones, and Jen Ward; grandson, Ender Hinkamper; parents, John and Judith Jones; siblings, Joffre Jones and Jade Jones (Vicki) and their children, Dawson, Marli, and Canon; numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins; numerous friends; and his dogs, Gizmo, Bandit, Chopper, and Scooby. He is preceded in death by his grandparents, maternal and paternal, and his beloved German Shorthairs, Java, Greta, Britt, Bodie, and Ellagator.
