Jason Ruffridge, 44, of Fort Dodge passed away Sunday, October 1, 2023. A visitation will be 4:00 to 7:00 PM Thursday, October 12, 2023 in the chapel of Laufersweiler Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life will be 1:00 PM Saturday, October 14, 2023 at Rides Banquet Center. Jason is survived by the love of his life, Carrie Fritz and her daughter Taelore and son Logan (Kenzie); his mother, Elena Fairman; his son Olin and granddaughter Yareli; brothers, Robert (Rachell) Fairman, Forest Spidle (Heather Lisovich), Jesse Spidle; and sister, Tammy (Mark) Rizzio; uncles and aunts, Jeff and Kathy Hepp, John and Janet Loux, Jim and Kathy Loux, Marcy Powell; numerous nieces and nephews, cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Terry Ruffridge; aunts, JO and Karla; uncle, Buzz and cousin, Tonya Collins. Jason Aaron Ruffridge was born February 19, 1979 in Des Moines. He worked for CJ Bio but he enjoyed fishing, camping and traveling the world. He spent as much of his free time that he could with his "Little Pinto Bean", his granddaughter Yareli.
