Megan Elizabeth Bryant, a lifetime resident of Dos Palos, passed away on Thursday, January 11, 2024, in Turlock, CA, surrounded by her family. She was 38 years old. She was born on April 29, 1985, in Los Banos, CA., the daughter of Michael(Mike) Bryant and Shelley Wright. Megans' nickname was "Meme" and being a "Meme" was the joy of Megan's life. This name became a greater honor after the birth of her precious nephew Michael III and niece Emerie. Megan helped with the upbringing of many children: working at Wee Wonders Preschool, Miss Megan's tutoring center, Megan's Day Care Center and also working at Dos Palos Elementary. Most recently, she volunteered all of her free time at Dos Palos Elementary and Marks Elementary to be with Michael and Emerie. Megan held her family close. Whether it be driving the streets of Dos Palos and beyond with her dad, spending Saturdays shopping with her mom, sister in law and niece, watching Bills football or Giants baseball with her nephew, or helping her brother run the little league snack bar, Megan was always there for her family and friends. to the Girl Scouts, 4-H, FFA, and played in the band; she had also coached Pop Warner cheer and ran the Dos Palos Christmas Toy Drive. As an adult, she began volunteering her time and energy to the groups in her community that matter the most. She had a servant's heart and all that was needed was a request from an organization and she would be there to help. She was a part of so many local organizations, including: Dos Palos 4-H (goat and sheep leader), Dos Palos Youth Baseball, organizer of the Dos Palos Christmas Parade, Trunk or Treat, Miss Dos Palos pageant, the Cotton Festival Parade, 8th Grade Washington DC Trip, and Committee Chair for US Open and AT&T Golf Tournaments in Pebble Beach, CA. She was preceded in death by her great grandmother, Rose Wright, grandfather, Buddy Joe Bryant, aunt, Deana Holt, and cousin, Andrew Wright. Megan is survived by her father, Mike (Diane) Bryant, mother, Shelley Wright, brother, Michael (Desiree) Bryant, nephew, Michael Bryant III, niece, Emerie Bryant, grandparents Don and Voneal Wright, grandmother, (Audrey) Charlene Bryant, and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. A celebration of life will be held Friday, January 26, 2024, 11am, at Dos Palos DES Hall, 1357 Elgin Ave, Dos Palos, CA 93620.
