Frank E. Hartman, Jr. of Stratford, NJ passed away peacefully surrounded by family on June 20, 2024, at the age of 79. Formally of Clementon, NJ. Beloved husband of Barbara (nee Wilson). Devoted father of Melissa Chisholm (Mike) and Frank. Loving "Pop" of Michael, Frank, and William. Dear brother of Thomas Hartman, Barbara Whitman, and the late Margaret Chatburn. Also survived by many loving family and friends. Frank served in the Air Force and was a Combat Photographer which included his tour in Vietnam. Proud member of Local Union 322, retired, where he formed lasting friendships. "There was never an organization that Frank wouldn't join". Commander of the Rawls-Tait VFW Post #7334 and a member of the Vietnam Veterans of America Chapter #1068 where he and his fellow veterans formed an unbreakable bond. Lifetime member of the Stratford Fire Company, lifetime member of NJ State Firemen's Association, Stratford Ambulance, and President of Stratford Council. His love for his town was unmeasurable. There will be a viewing from 1pm until 3pm on Thursday, June 27, 2024 at GARDNER FUNERAL HOME, RUNNEMEDE. Funeral service to follow at the funeral home.
