Larry Eric Wall

Larry E. Wall of Mantua, NJ passed away on June 23, 2024 at the age of 77. Larry was born in Haddon Heights, NJ, and grew up in Fairview. After graduating from high school he went on to serve in the United States Navy as a Petty Officer Third and Second Musician on trumpet during the Vietnam War, having completed training at the Naval School of Music. After his honorable discharge, Larry went on to work as a warehouse technician with companies such as Ford, Johnson & Johnson, and NFI until his retirement in 2014. Larry is survived by his daughters Michelle Wall of West Deptford, NJ and Melissa Wilson (Gregory) of Cherry Hill, and grandpup Archie; longtime girlfriend Linda Smith of Mantua, NJ. He was preceded in death by his three brothers, the late Jerry Wall (Carole), the late Ronald Wall (Claire), and the late Kenneth Wall (Angela). Larry is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. An easygoing man, Larry was known for his farcical sense of humor and his ability to regale people with stories of his shenanigans, and he never went anywhere without a joke in hand. He spent many years serving St. John Lutheran Church and later Holy Nativity Lutheran Church in many capacities, most notably as a trumpet player and member of the choir. There will be a viewing Sunday, June 30 from 4pm to 6pm and Monday, July 1 from 9am to 10am at Gardner Funeral Home, Runnemede. Funeral service 10am Monday morning at the funeral home.
