Matthew S. Russell

Matthew S. Russell Spencerport: Passed away on June 25, 2024. Matthew is survived by his devoted wife, Rachele (Riggerello) Russell; his sunshine, daughter Abby; parents, Maureen & David Russell; siblings, Dave Russell, Doug (Lynn) Russell, Michael (Wendy) Russell & Michelle (Raviel) Vega; in-laws, Jack & Mary Riggerello; many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, 2 great-nephews and cousins. Matt was a 1992 graduate of Greece Athena High School. He was truly hard-working, including time with Federico Construction and the past 13 years as site foreman at Tambe Electric. As a heavy equipment operator, he would refer to his job as "just pulling levers for a living". Rachele and Abby were the most important things in his life. He enjoyed spending time with his family, summer vacations to the Adirondacks were special times. During these trips, spending time on the water and especially on jet skis were his happiest experiences. Matt's motto was to do things the Russell Prop Way. He enjoyed country music and watching the Moonshiners & Highway Thru Hell TV shows. In Matt's memory take time for yourself, with family and friends. Matt's life story will be shared during visitation, 1:00-5:00 pm on Sunday, June 30th at the funeral home, 1411 Vintage Lane. Memorial donations can be made in Matthew's name to the c/o Michael Russell, 614 Fishers Run, Victor, NY 14564 for Abby's College Fund.
