Jane Marie Wojtasiak

Jane Wojtasiak, of Weston, died on June 26, 2024 at Renaissance Assisted Living. She was 88 years old. She was born on September 2, 1935 in Antigo, a daughter of Ralph and Margaret (Bruemmer) Krall. She married John Wojtasiak on August 18, 1956 at St. Hyacinth Catholic Church Antigo. He preceded her in death on February 19, 2022. She was a graduate of Antigo High School in 1953. Jane was the General Leader of the Shooting Stars 4-H Club and served on the Langlade County 4-H board of directors. Jane played clarinet and bass clarinet for a number of years in the community band. She enjoyed vegetable gardening, and baking for family and friends. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by 4 sisters, Carole Hackbarth, Barbara Michaud, Virginia Devine, and Karen Devine; and sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Rosemary and George Koch. A private funeral service will be held at SS Mary & Hyacinth Catholic Church. Entombment will take place at Queen of Peace Cemetery.
