Billy Dee Curutchague, born on June 22, 1963 in Montpelier, Idaho, passed away on July 9, 2024, in Dos Palos, CA. He was a beloved son, brother, father, and uncle. Billy attended Los Banos High School and later pursued his education at California State University, Fresno. Billy had a deep passion for music, particularly rock and roll. His favorite bands, Led Zeppelin and Rush, inspired him to learn and master the drums. Playing rock music with his friends brought him immense joy and allowed him to showcase his talent and creativity. In addition to his love for music, Billy enjoyed sports, including football, basketball, and baseball. He was known for his outgoing and friendly nature, always making those around him laugh with his sense of humor. Billy is preceded in death by his parents, Ambroise and Florence Curutchague, and is survived by his his son, Christian Curutchague, along with his daughter-in-law Riley Tucker Curutchague. ll is also survived by his aunts and uncle, Pauline and Owen Newbry and Shirley Quintana. Billy's impact on the lives of others was immeasurable. With his infectious smile and positive energy, he never failed to bring happiness to the faces of his friends and family. He will be deeply missed but fondly remembered for his love for music, zest for life, and ability to brighten any room he entered. Funeral service will be held at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Los Banos on July 31st, 10 am rosary, 10:30 am mass. Gravesite burial to follow immediately after mass. Gravesite services will be at Los Banos Cemetery. May Billy Dee Curutchague rest in peace, forever remembered and loved by those whose lives he touched.
