James R. Kucharski, of White Lake, formerly of Milwaukee, died on August 16, 2024 at Aspirus Wausau Hospital. He was 66 years old. He was born on February 4, 1958 in Milwaukee, a son of the late Roman and Theresa (Pelkowski) Kucharski. He married Donna Haumschild on April 17, 1982 at Milwaukee. He was a graduate of Pulaski High School in Milwaukee. Jim served in the United States Army from August 2, 1977 to July 28, 1980, having been stationed in Germany. He was a welder for Tramont for over 30 years. Jim participated in Civil War reenactment and coached the Bayview Area Red Cats. He enjoyed watching football and westerns. He played the concertina, and loved to dance and play cribbage with Donna. Survivors include his wife, Donna; three daughters, Kristie (Kyle Ewing) Kucharski of Milwaukee, Theresa Kucharski (Abe Meeks) of Milwaukee, and Angela (Steven) Malak of Hales Corners; grandchildren, Alexandrea (Desmond) Howe, Nyjal and Nolan Ewing, Julian Kucharski, Mariah Meeks and Isabella Malak; sister, Jane Biscontine; brothers, Michael (Barb) Kucharski and Paul (Diane) Kucharski; sisters and brothers-in-law, Debbie Kucharski, Leonard (Cindi) Haumschild, Kathy (Pete) Alb...[more]

Debbie (Steve) Sutton, Dawn (Jeff) Hayes, Lori Kroll; brother-in-law, Glen (Vickie) Haumschild; and many nieces, nephews, and friends. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, John Kucharski, and brother-in-law, Sandy Biscontine. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 24, at 11 a.m. at Bradley Funeral Home with Rev. Steve Sanford officiating. Burial with Military Honors will take place in Elmwood Cemetery, Antigo. Visitation will be held on Friday, August 23, from 4 to 7 p.m. and Saturday from 10 to 11 a.m. at the funeral home. Memorials may be directed to www.donate.cancer.org for leukemia research.
