Lester Wayne Linneweber, 70, passed away the morning of August 18, 2024. He was born in Freelandville, May 30, 1954, to Robert "Bob" and Luella (Frederick) Linneweber. After high school, Lester attended Ivy Tech. He worked for Perdue for fifteen years and worked in real estate. Lester formerly owned and operated two turkey farms: the Northwest Turkey Farm and the Mint Turkey Farm. A man of many interests, Lester enjoyed motorcycle riding, playing the guitar, and listening to music. He loved playing cornhole, and tennis and attended professional tennis matches. Those who now mourn Lester's sudden passing include: his significant other, Chris Briscoe of Washington and his favorite sidekick, Midge; brothers: Vic (Debbie) Linneweber of Washington and Randy (Jill) Linneweber of Brielle, New Jersey; sisters: Karen (Oz) Granger of Las Vegas, Nevada; and Sue (Dick) Dunn of Washington; as well as many cousins, nieces and nephews. Lester was fortunate to have many lifelong friends who will miss him dearly.
