Mark Allan Lester

Mark A. Lester, of Antigo, died on August 19, 2024 at Aspirus Wausau Hospital. He was 62 years old. He was born on September 4, 1961 in Milwaukee, a son of Raymond Lester of Wauwatosa and the late Nathalie Joann (Krause) Lester. He married Linda Maher on September 20, 2002 in Antigo. He was a graduate of Wauwatosa West High School. Afterwards Mark worked as a Mazda and Ford mechanic, cement finisher, dump truck driver, and Menards doing various jobs. Mark enjoyed fishing and camping with his grandchildren, who loving refer to him as Grandpa "Butthead". He loved his 13 year old Mini-Pincher Katie who he raised. In addition to his wife and father, Mark is survived by sister, Wendy Lester of Wauwatosa; brother, Brian (Barbara) Lester of Janesville; niece, Ashley Lester of Janesville; step-sons, Jesse (Kristin) Maher of Antigo, Jason (Corey) Hayes of Springfield, MA, Matthew (Ashli) Hayes of Blue Springs, MS; and granddaughters, Madelyn Maher, Jordyn Hayes, Andie Hayes, Jayla Hayes and Harper Hayes.
