Linda L. (Taylor) Helderman, 83, passed away on September 4, 2024. She was born in Washington on May 6, 1941, to Harold and Olive (Harder) Taylor. On June 20, 1959, she married Emery Helderman and he has preceded her in death. Linda was very family-oriented and loved being a homemaker. She enjoyed crafting, painting her husband's woodworking projects and gardening. Linda always looked forward to spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She had attended the Veale Creek Baptist Church. Those who now mourn Linda's passing include her daughters: Lisa (Randy) Wininger of Washington and Lynn (Michael) Rose of Linton. Linda was blessed with five grandchildren: Jessica (Derek) McKee; Travis (Christopher Gartshore) Wininger; Steven (Laura) Rose; Crystal (John) Russell; Tamra Wininger, and six great-grandchildren: Abbigail McKee; Leah McKee; Jake Rose; Hollee Rose; Margot Johnson; and Maeve Johnson (deceased). Emery "JR" Helderman, Jr., great-granddaughter, Maeve Johnson, and sister, Donna Kelso. Visitation for Linda Helderman will be 11:00 am-1:00 pm, Monday, September 9, 2024, at the Ed L. Lee Mortuary, 620 East Viola Avenue, Washington, Indiana. Funeral services for Linda Helderman will immediately follow the visitation on Monday, September 9, 2024, and begin at 1:00 pm. Pastor Tom Watson will officiate. Burial will be in the Alfordsville Community Cemetery. Because of Linda's love of crafting, the family asks, that in lieu of flowers, memorial donations be made to the Villages at Oak Ridge, 1694 Troy Road, Washington, Indiana 47501. Please specify on your check that it is to be used for supplies for the residents' activities program. Condolences may be left online at www.edleemortuary.com. The staff of the Ed L.
