Eric "Rick" Scheffer Hilton: Passed away on September 19, 2024. Rick is predeceased by his parents, Ronald & Gerry Scheffer. He is survived by his loving wife & best friend, Jo Ann Scheffer; sons, Matt (Kathy) Scheffer & Ben (Liz) Scheffer; grandchildren, Hannah, Brenden, Christian; siblings, Sue (Michael) Murphy, Dan (Michele) Scheffer, Bonnie (Frank) Martin, Debbie Scheffer, Dave (Mary) Scheffer, Mark Scheffer & Terry Scheffer; brothers-in-law & sisters-in-law, Jan (Harvey) Collen, Clark (Diane) Tuttle, Paul Tuttle & Jerri (Vance) McMichael; many nieces, nephews & cousins. Rick worked for General Railway Signal for 45 years. He was a devoted Catholic and active with Worldwide Marriage Encounter. His family was most important, his grandchildren were his shining light. He loved the game of golf and sometimes it loved him as well. Rick's life story will be shared during visitation, 3:00-6:00 pm on Friday, September 27th at the funeral home, 1411 Vintage Lane. His Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 on Saturday, September 28th at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, 3747 Brick Schoolhouse Rd. Hamlin, NY 14464.
