Jose Alfonso Escalante

Jose A. Escalante passed away at his home in Dos Palos on October 10, 2024 at the age of 88. Jose was born on July 26, 1936 in El Paso, Texas to Estidon Riava and Luisa Escalante. Jose was a Marine, an artist and loved life, he traveled the world with his ex-partner and boss. He was a member of the Los Banos Kiwanis. Jose is survived by one sister Cecilla Mckenzy and family, his friend and caregiver Isabel Mendonca-Reid and family. He will be missed greatly. He is now walking with God. A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, October 17, 2024, at 10:30 am at Whitehurst Funeral Chapel of Los Banos followed by a Rosary at 11:00 am and Funeral Service at 11:30 am. [more]
