Troy Stripling

Troy Stripling, 68, of Antigo, died on October 13, 2024, in Iron Mountain, Michigan. He was born on September 1, 1956, in Illinois, the son of the late Frank and Gwendolyn (Brown) Stripling. Troy proudly served in the United States Army from 1974 to 1977 and again in 1980 to 1989 having been stationed in Korea and Germany. He married Jean Boyd in 1978, but the couple divorced in 1988. They married again on February 17, 2006. Troy was a chauffeur for many years in Chicago and then worked for Iris in Kenosha. In Antigo, he was a driver for North Central Caravans and worked at Amron. He loved to play pool. He was an avid reader, his favorite author was Louis La'mor. His greatest joy was spending time with his grandchildren and his German Shepherds. Troy will be remembered as a kind man with a good heart. Nelson of Alabama. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 22 at the Bradley Funeral Home from 3 to 4:30 p.m. followed by sharing of memories. We will conclude with Military Honors at the funeral home. A gathering will take place at Boettcher's Bar following the service.
