Jacqueline Lee Christenson, age 86, of Ames, Iowa died at Israel Family Hospice House in Ames on December 11, 2024. A gathering of friends and family will be 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 18 at Grandon Funeral and Cremation Care, 414 Lincoln Way, Ames. Jacqueline Lee (McClure) Sydnes Christenson was born on August 23, 1938, in Ames Iowa, the daughter of Marion and Margaret (McKenna) McClure. Jacqueline graduated from Ames High School in 1956. She married Paul Sydnes on June 22nd, 1958, and he preceded her in death on August 8th, 1963. She married Eugene Christenson on December 5, 1964, in Bethany, Missouri.
