Jean L. Sexson

Jean L. (Goodpasture) Sexson, 87, passed away while at the Daviess Community Hospital, January 7, 2025. She was born in Petersburg, April 15, 1937, the daughter of Betty (Goodpasture) White. Jean was married to Richard Mitchell who passed away in 1978. Jean was a long-time employee in the dietary department of the Daviess Community Hospital beginning in 1973. She loved to knit and enjoyed reading romance novels. She was a member of the Eagles and the Ladies Auxiliary of the Moose. Those who are left to mourn Jean's passing include: her daughters, Karen Mitchell of Vincennes and Monica Stallings of Washington; grandchildren: Steven Mitchell of Washington, Tasha Mitchell of Bloomington, James Mitchell of Bedford, Nichole Mitchell of Vincennes, Brittny Schultz of Vincennes, Keith (Trista) Hardwick of West Liberty, Ohio, Shelly (Troy) Fuhs of Montgomery, Robyn (Dusty) Kalusing in South Carolina, Sherry (John) Baker of Patoka, Ashley (Jordan) Fields of Washington, and Mark Watkins of Belmont, North Carolina.
