Eileen Barr

Eileen Kay (Jackson) Barr, 62, of Osceola, IA, passed away on January 10th, 2025 at Iowa City Hospital with her family by her side. Eileen was born on April 23rd, 1962 in Marshalltown, IA to parents Bill and Karen Jackson (Scalf). She married her husband, Frank Barr, on September 1, 1990 and they settled down in Osceola, where they raised their three children. Eileen truly never knew a stranger, and if you were a stranger, she would be your friend in minutes. She always had room in her heart for one more person! She worked many jobs, and all of them she would say her favorite part was the people. When Eileen wasn't chasing her kids around, you would find her going to a concert, dancing, listening to music, or doing a needle point, always with a smile on her face! Eileen was preceded in death by her father, Bill Jackson of Bedford, IA.
