James "Porky" L. DeHart, of White Lake, died Wednesday, February 12, 2025 at Rosalia Gardens under the care of LeRoyer Hospice. He was 77 years old. He was born on May 20, 1947 in the town of Evergreen a son of Acie and Iva (Whitt) DeHart.
Porky was a 1965 graduate of White Lake High School. He owned Porky's Place in Langlade and was a cook there for 11 years until 1999. He also worked for Johnson Electric and Coil from 2005 to 2008.
Survivors include a son, Donald (Stacey) DeHart of Cordova, TN; two granddaughters, Madison (Zack) Hamm of Fulton, MS and Lauren DeHart of Oxford, MS; two great-grandchildren, Marshall and Elizabeth Hamm; four sisters-in-law, Caroline DeHart, Pat DeHart, Wendy DeHart all of White Lake and Tammy DeHart of Antigo. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by six brothers, Orville, LaVern, Troy, Gary, William and Lyle (Mary "Pinkie"); and a sister, Eileen (Kenneth) Brown.
