Geraldine Ann "Gerry" Taylor of Antigo, died peacefully on February 24, 2025 at her home. She was 68 years old. She was born on December 3, 1956 in Antigo, a daughter of John and LaVerne (Rank) Tautges. She married her soul mate David Taylor on April 29, 2000 at Aniwa. He preceded her in death on September 6, 2008. Gerry worked on the family farm for over 28 years and was a waitress for M&L Truck Stop. Afterwards she worked as a cashier and manager at Remington Oil. Prior to retirement Gerry worked as a line worker and then supervisor at Amron. She was talented at crocheting and sewing, working on projects for others, mending, alterations and quilts for her family. Gerry enjoyed spending her time, camping, gardening, playing cribbage, dancing with her great-grandchildren and watching CSI. She was a devoted fan of the Minnesota Vikings. Gerry loved drinking coffee, Kwik-Trip Glazers, and you would rarely see her without her mountain dew and menthol cigarettes. Klopstein of Rothschild, and Shelbi (Kyle) Schimelfining of Birnamwood; two great-grandchildren, James Schimelfining and Abigail Schimelfining of Birnamwood; three brothers, Phillip (Tanya) Tautges of Wittenberg, Jack Tautges of Illinois, and Andrew Tautges of California; two sisters, Bernadette Schilling of New York and Roseanne (Perry) Stargardt of Marshfield; and first-husband, Michael Meverden of Birnamwood. In addition to her parents and husband, She was preceded in death by her sister, Patricia Huettl; and beloved dog, Butchie. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 8 at 11 a.m. at Bradley Funeral Home Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 8, from 9 to 11 a.m. at the funeral home.
