Margaret "Peg" Ann Hollmann (nee Boxrucker), of De Pere, died on February 27, 2025 at her home. She was 77 years old. She was born on August 15, 1947 in Stanley Wisconsin, a daughter of Al and Agnes (Bush) Boxrucker. She married Philip Hollmann in 1985. He preceded her in death on November 20, 2023. Peg graduated from Owen Withee High School with honors afterwards attending UW Eau Claire. She was an office manager and benefits coordinator at Beatrice Foods for 17 years, then retired in Pickerel She was a active member of St. Mary's Catholic Church. Peg volunteered for the Pickerel Crane Lake District, Pickerel Fire Department Auxiliary, Forest County Association of Lakes, and the Town of Nashville. She was a member of the Tombstone Pickerel Sno Club. Peg enjoyed snowmobiling, especially the grandma and grandpa rides, reading, counted cross stitching, thrifting, puzzles, playing cards, interacting with pet deer, rock landscaping and making Christmas games. Peg and Phil took trips together to Mexico, Dominican Republic, and many other destinations around the United States. , Brewers, Cubs and Washington Redskins. Pegs favorite athlete of all time was Muhammad Ali. She was proud of being a "bleeding heart liberal". Survivors include daughter, Lynn Zais of Oshkosh; son, Michael (LeeAnn) Zais of Franklin; Peg lovingly took three more daughters into her heart; Michelle (Richard) Mirek of De Pere, Sheila Desotelle of Flushing, MI, and Laura Richards of Lake Villa; and a honorary son, Jason (Anita) Zais of Houston, TX; two brothers, Joe (Karen) Boxrucker of Eagle River and Chuck (Nikki) Boxrucker of Florence, AZ; sister, Rosemarie Tetzlaff of Colby; five grandchildren, Emma Zais, Kayla Desotelle, Jake Desotelle, Josh Richards, and Claire Richards; also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and so many friends. In addition to her parents and husband, Philip, she was preceded in death by grandson, Matthew Philip; and her first husband, Jerry Zais. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, March 14, 2025 at St Mary Catholic Church in Pickerel at 11 a.m. with Rev. Arul Kennedy Gaspar officiating. Burial will take place in Spring at St Mary Catholic Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Friday, March 14 from 9 to 11 a.m. at the church.
