Her greatest enjoyment came from collecting Monarch caterpillars from her butterfly bushes and giving them to her grandchildren or keeping a few for herself to observe the miracle of transformation from caterpillar to chrysalis, to butterfly, and release. Sheryl is survived by her husband, Ron, sons: Brad (Angie) of Polk City, Ryan (Amy) of Overland Park, KS, five grandchildren, Annaliese, Brenna, Lucy, Harrison, and Molly. Her Mother Alberta Kennedy of Ankeny, sisters: Susan (Wayne) Harris of Ames, Michelle (Chris) Rembert of Ankeny, brother, Alan (Christine) Kennedy of Huxley, sister-in-law Karen (Larry) Schunck of Des Moines, brother-in-law, Steve Kamps of Polk City his friend Jackie Schwartz of Ankeny along with her nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her father, Marvin Kennedy, a nephew Cameron Kennedy, father-in-law and mother-in-law Rudy and Donna Kamps.
