Marie VanDenack

Marie (Tilkens) Goral VanDenack, 83, joined her Lord and heavenly family, November 20, 2005, surrounded by her family after an extended stay at Grancare Nursing Home. Marie was born November 27, 1921, to the late Michael and Alvina Tilkens in Preble. She was a graduate of Green Bay East High School. She was a lifetime member of St. Agnes Catholic Church and was a member of the Mary Guild and the Ladies Rosary Society. She married Anthony J. Goral of Eaton, Wisconsin; he preceded her in death October 14, 1961. She was the proud mother of five children, including a set of twins; James (Shirley) Goral, Oneida; Larry (Jean) Goral, Suring; Jane (David) Pilz, Green Bay; Jean Amenson, Ashwaubenon; and Michael (Yvonne) Goral, Covington, Washington; 18 grandchildren and 31 great-grandchildren; brother, Norris Tilkens, Wausau. She later married Harvey VanDenack and is survived by her six stepchildren; step-grandchildren; and step-great-grandchildren; and numerous nephews, nieces; other relatives and friends. n Goral. Friends may call after 9:30 A.M. Wednesday, November 23, at St. Agnes Catholic Church, 1484 Ninth St., where the Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 10:30 A.M. with the Rev. Richard Getchel officiating. Burial will be in Allouez Catholic Cemetery.
