Sharon Gilson

Sharon J. Gilson, 62, Ashwaubenon, died Saturday, March 12, 2005, at a local hospital. She was born April 7, 1942 to the late Edward and Kathleen (Giese) Kelly in Green Bay. On December 16, 1967, she married Donald J. Gilson in Green Bay. He preceded her in death March 9, 2003 and Don was very deeply missed by Sharon. Sharon enjoyed gardening (even though nothing grew), cooking and sitting around the kitchen table sharing stories with friends. She was a real people-person and had a great sense of humor. She loved laughing with you and at you, and was a true and loyal friend. Sharon loved her collectables whether they were frogs, cookbooks, ornaments or Packer memorabilia. She gave of herself beyond nothing left to give and still she kept giving because she loved. She was the most wonderful and caring mother and grandmother one could ever imagine. Sharon was an avid Packer fan and enjoyed the game day drives around Lambeau Field and also loved going to The Side Line to be with her friends.
