Dale Spangler

Dale John Spangler, 47, passed away unexpectedly Thursday, February 24, 2005. He was born August 1, 1957 to Joseph and Marlene Spangler. Dale lived in Green Bay all of his life and was a graduate of West High School. On September 20, 1980, he married Cynthia (Cindy) Hoagland at Blessed Sacrament Church. Dale had a variety of jobs during his lifetime but fulfilled his dream of owning his own business. For the past five years, he has been owner and operator of Assorted Trim & Door, Inc. He was a member of the Brown County Home Builders Association. He was also an avid sportsman. He enjoyed fishing and hunting especially his hunting trips out West. Also, when he had the time, Dale enjoyed a good game of golf. Dale is survived by his wife, Cindy; his three children, Jamie, Bud and Samantha, all at home; his parents, Joseph and Marlene Spangler; his brothers, Bruce Spangler, David (Cindy) Spangler and Paul (JoAnn) Spangler; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Bill and Chris Baenen, Patrick and Lisa Hoagland, Michael Hoagland and Lisa, Vicki and Kevin Hultman, Kevin and Therese Hoagland, and Kelly and John Wolfe; and many nephews and nieces. Sunday, February 27, at Lyndahl Funeral Home, Lombardi Ave. at Ridge Rd. Visitation will continue after 10:00 A.M. Monday at Calvary Lutheran Church, 1301 South Ridge Rd. where the funeral service will take place at 11:00 A.M. with the Rev. Gail Sowell officiating. Dale lived his life pursuing and attaining his dreams. Many of us only dare to dream, Dale dared to live his life to the fullest and it is this that we will remember. Dale's love and devotion and leadership to his family, friends and co-workers will be greatly missed.
