Lester "Jack" Boerst

Lester ?Jack? Boerst, 82, Green Bay, died Friday, October 13, 2006, at a local nursing home. He was born July 19, 1924 to the late Henry and Mabel (Haberman) in Angelica, Wisconsin. On September 24, 1949, he married Maribell ?Mert? Hanstedt at St. Paul Lutheran Church, Zachow; she preceded him in death October 27, 2002. Jack was employed at Ft. Howard Paper Mill for 34 years, retiring in 1987. He was a charter member of St. Mark Lutheran Church. Jack enjoyed hunting and fishing. He also liked to dance, bowl, play cribbage and do woodworking. Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, Dale and Karen, Green Bay; one daughter and son-in-law, Renee and Mark Peters, Green Bay; three grandchildren, Brian (Karey) Boerst, Jennifer Boerst and Krista Peters; three sisters and one brother-in-law, Hazel Hanstedt, Green Bay; Florence and Steve Baranczyk, Pulaski; and Lorraine Hanstedt, Pulaski; a sister-in-law, Mrs. Harold (Lucille) Boerst, Seymour; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
