Meretta Paeske

Mrs. Henry C. (Meretta) Paeske, 103, Green Bay, died Saturday, December 2, 2006 at a local nursing home. She was born November 17, 1903, to the late Charles and Nora (Gotto) Kieffer in Green Bay. On January 30, 1922, she married Henry C. Paeske; he preceded her in death February 27, 1974. Meretta had been employed at the H. C. Prange Co. for fifteen years as a buyer in the hosiery department. She was a member of Incarnation Lutheran Church and Lady Firemen and Enginemen. Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, Henry R. and Nora Paeske, Green Bay; one daughter and son-in-law, Marian and Bert Miller, Battle Creek, Michigan; six grandchildren, Robert Paeske; Dennis Paeske; Gail (Dean) Diedrick, Lynn Miller; Jean (George) Wells; and Kurt (Judy) Miller; seven great-grandchildren, Scott Paeske; Brock Diedrick; Chad (Laura) Wells; Todd Wells; Seth (Rebecca) Wells; Sara (Erik) Johnson and Emily (John) Haubenstricker; two great- great-grandsons, Hayden Haubenstricker and Matteus Johnson; and one niece and five nephews, Charles Kieffer; George Kieffer; Milton Kieffer; Marie Kieffer Miller; Carl Paeske; and Richard Kieffer. h by two brothers, George and Gotto. Friends may call from 4:00 to 7:00 P.M. Tuesday, December 5, at Lyndahl Funeral Home. Visitation will continue after 10:00 A.M. Wednesday at the funeral home where the funeral service will take place at 11:00 A.M. with the Rev. Keith Swanson officiating. Burial will be in Ashwaubenon Moravian Cemetery. In lieu of other expressions of sympathy, a memorial fund has been established for Incarnation Lutheran Church.
