Michael R. Lemke, 50, Green Bay was called home to the Lord on Wednesday, January 28, 2009 due to natural causes. He was born March 26, 1958, to Rolland and Ida (Gove) Lemke in Marinette, Wisconsin. Mike served in the U. S. Air Force as a Fuel Specialist from 1980 to 1992, having spent most of his time stationed at Spangdalheim AFB in Germany prior to serving in Operation Desert Storm. Since then, he worked as a dispatcher for fuel tank liners.
Survivors include his parents; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Tamara and Chris Groth, Green Bay; and Lizbeth and Jeff Nelson, Mazomanie, Wisconsin; four nieces and one nephew, Emily and Maggie Groth; and Zachary, Mackenzie and Kyra Nelson; his maternal grandmother, Ida Gove; aunts, uncles, other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Richard Gove; and his paternal grandparents, Leonard, Sr. and Ruth Lemke.
