for his students and for his support of public school music education. He is survived by his wife of nearly 60 years, Joyce Dillon. He leaves 6 children; Ronda Rudd, James Dillon and wife Fran, Patrick Dillon and wife Susan Schultz, Christopher Dillon, Timothy Dillon and Marsha Latulip and husband Bill. Jim also leaves behind 9 grandchildren, Tracey, Jamie, Christopher, Rachel, Scot, Sara, Ian, Elena, and Andrew, as well as 6 great-grandchildren, Dillon, Aubree, Katarina, Kenny, Anna, and Christopher. Jim is also survived by his brother, William Dillon and wife Elizabeth, sister-in-law, Bernice Dillon, sister-in law, Edith Dillon, sister-in-law, Mary King and sister and brother- in- law, Jean and David Gibbs. In addition, Jim leaves many other relatives, cousins, nieces, and nephews and many loving friends. Preceding Jim in death were two brothers, Leonard Dillon and Raymond Dillon; sister and brother-in-law, Ella (Robert) Widdicombe; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Shirlee and Nils Moe and a brother-in-law, Robert King. Visitation will be held on Monday, July 25, 2011 at Lyndahl Funeral Home from 9 am until the Memorial Service at 10:30 am with Funeral Celebrant Matthew Cornelius officiating. Military honors will follow. In lieu of flowers, a memorial contribution in Jim's name can be made to Unity Hospice. The family would like to thank the Renaissance Assisted Living Community and the Rennes Health Center for their kindness and support of Jim and the family. We would also like to extend special thanks to the staff of Unity Hospice, especially Linda and Mina, for their wonderful care and support to both Jim and Joyce.
