Mrs. Elizabeth "Betty" Koepsel, passed away Tuesday morning, October 18, 2011 at Aurora Memorial Hospital in Sheboygan. She was 74 years old. Betty was born December 27, 1936 in Milwaukee, the daughter of Bolcan Lillie and Mary Moehn. On June 18, 1955 she was united in marriage with Raymond J. Koepsel at St. Nicholas Catholic Church in Milwaukee. For 14 years, she worked at Post Offices in the Milwaukee area. Ray and Betty raised their family in Milwaukee, and moved to Cedar Grove in 2008. Betty was a car enthusiast, who enjoyed watching cooking and carpentry shows, sewing and crafting. She is survived by her husband Raymond of Cedar Grove and their children: Linda (Jay) Montgomery of Neillsville, WI, Susan Koepsel of Cedar Grove, Carol Trekas of Cedar Grove and Robyn (Jeffrey) Butzlaff of Germantown. She is further survived by her son-in-law Russel Apfel, 10 grandchildren: Shanon, Andrea, Philip, Stacey, Nicole, Brian, Amber, Christopher, Alexandra and Jonathan; 14 great-grandchildren, sister Jane (Robert) George of Hudson, sister-in-law Jean Shrank of West Bend, brother-in-law Walter Koepsel of Oshkosh, other relatives and friends. ghters Dona Koepsel and Mary Ann Apfel and grandson Armin Heine. Betty will be laid to rest at Holy Cross Cemetery in Milwaukee at a later date. The Eernisse Funeral Home, Belgium is assisting the family with arrangements.
