Gloria Margaret McNeil MUSCATINE, Iowa--Gloria Margaret McNeil, 83, of Muscatine, died on Monday, October 31, 2011, at her home. Funeral Service will be held at 1 p.m. on Thursday, November 3, 2011, at Bewley Funeral & Cremation Services in Aledo, Illinois. Burial will take place in New Boston Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. on Thursday, November 3, 2011, at the funeral home. Gloria was born on March 9, 1928, in Andover, Illinois, the daughter of Everet Dillon and Gertrude Mae Luxmore Glidden. She married Harold E. McNeil in Aledo, Illinois, on July 25, 1948. She was a member of the Christian Nondenominational Church. She loved her grandkids, cats, dogs and reading. She enjoyed dolls, quilting, sewing, painting of Trichem and playing skipbo cards. Survivors include her husband of 63 years, Harold McNeil; her children, Mary Kaplan and husband, Abdul, of Louisiana, William Lee McNeil and wife, Pat, of Colorado, Kimberly Rogstad and husband, Michael, of Iowa, Kristy Walters of Iowa; 10 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; one great-great-granddaughter; and a sister, Bonnie Merdith of Indiana.
