ces between. It was her belief (and wish in her final days) that she would be reunited with her family and friends who have passed before her including her parents, Chum and Adah; brother, Jimmy (MIA in WWII); sister, Ellen Cary (Alan, Brian and Kim); first grandson, Louie and many close life-time friends. Family was the center of her universe. Before her final wish was granted, she said this to all of her children, "Thank you, I am so lucky and I love you". This sums up our mom's life. She was kind, grateful and compassionate. Her quiet, gentle spirit and her blue eyes and warm smile will be deeply missed. At Mary's request, no formal services will be held. A celebration of her life will be held next summer. A sincere thank you to the Oakwood Village staff.
