Frieda Laverne Hutcherson (Hutch) Clark, 87, died early Sunday morning December 5th, 2010. A resident of Hollywood, FL, Hutch passed away at Memorial Regional South after a period of declining health. Born October 17th, 1923 in Rineyville, KY to the late Joseph Benjamin and Josie Ellen Bush Hutcherson, Hutch was the youngest of 12 children. After serving as a Seaman First Class in the United States Navy from 1944 to 1946, she had a successful and much appreciated career as a dispatcher for the City of Hollywood until her retirement. She received several awards for recognition of service and remained a cherished part of the Hollywood Fire and Rescue family long after her retirement, routinely donating her time and efforts on fundraisers and keeping the squads well-fed with plates of homemade cakes and brownies. An avid bowler for many years, Hutch also greatly enjoyed quilting and crafting. ndchildren: Tyler, Kaitlin, Nathan and Kerrie Reza, Aria, Thomas, David and Hutcherson Smith, Vlad Stone and Tatum Martin; and one brother, Ellis Hutcherson of Elizabethtown, KY. She was a strong, independent woman and will be remembered for her constant love and unwavering support. She has truly touched the lives of many, and we are all better for having known her. She will be sorely missed by lovingly remembered. Visitation will be held Wednesday, December 8, 2010 from 12 noon to 2 pm, with a Funeral Service at 2PM at our Taft Street Location. Entombment will follow at Hollywood Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
