She always had a garden and canned vegetables. In December of 2001, Anna and Bill moved into Britt. She enjoyed reading, writing poetry and books in general. Another hobby was making bread, angel food cakes and her famous potato salad for family and friends. The family was her main source of joy. She was a member of St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church, Rosary Society, Britt Court of Catholic Daughters of America, past president of the Mason City Deanery for Archdiocese Council of Catholic Women, Catholic Workman FCSLA w51, Garfield Hobby Club and Birthday Club. Anna is survived by her daughter, Kathy (Art) Linden of Golden Valley, MN; grandchildren, Jessica Linden, Amanda Linden, Jacque Weiland, Doug Weiland, Brenda (Lee) Whitaker; great-grandson, Nicolas William Whitaker; a brother, Clarence (Marlene) Stupka of Ankeny; nieces, nephews, farm family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Bill, July 6, 2007; two daughters, Betty (Darryl) Sparks and Patricia (Merlyn) Helps; sisters, Dorothy Bosch, Agnes Formanek and Mildred Schaefer; and brothers, Raymond, Lewis and Harold Stupka.
